Erie Community Foundation Education Grant 2009

On Tuesday, January 27th, the Erie Community Foundation held its quarterly grant ceremony and news conference. During the conference, Michael Batchelor, president of the foundation announced the recipients of funding through the "Education" grant period.

Jeff Natalie and Adam Miller of ErieKIDS attended the ceremony. ErieKIDS was one of 21 organizations that provide direct services to children and families and one of 29 grant recipients. It is because of the generosity of those who donate to the Erie Community Foundation and the oversight of the foundation itself that ErieKIDS and our colleagues can offer the new services rolling out soon.

For ErieKIDS, the result of that grant is funding for high definition video and audio equipment for our community education programming and for the "Nonprofit for Nonprofit" program.
