A licensed social worker in Pennsylvania, Jeffrey is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and of the Philadelphia Child Guidance/Western Psychiatric Institutes’ Pennsylvania Family Therapy training.  Working with children and families since 1990, Jeff is a social worker in private practice with a specialty in children, couples and family issues. He is a frequent regional professional speaker on children's mental health issues and has been a presenter at both the NASW-PA state conference the ADAA national conference in St. Louis and Albuquerque and has produced a 25 minute educational video for the ADAA, intended for international distribution.  He provides consultation, professional development, community advocacy, program development and supervision to regional mental health facilities and community groups. He is an instructor at the graduate university level.

He is the founder and president of ErieKIDS, a child and family education and prevention program. He is a two time national award winning children’s video producer. Recently, Jeff has been awarded the 2009 NASW NWPA "Social Worker of the Year", 2008 Young Erie Professional GenerationE! award, YMCA "Volunteer of the Year" and 2008 honorary inductee of the "Erie Living Hall of Fame", 2008 honorary inductee of the Edinboro University Phi Alpha honor society.   He was featured in the Times News April 2008 “Her Times – Good Guy” and EventDV magazine for his work with families and the community.
